Eureka! Games

Five brightly coloured Eureka! Games encourage elementary school students to learn basic principles of physics through experimentation. In "Free Throw" for example, students learn about the effects of angle and force on the trajectory of a ball while launching a ball into a basket. Developed with BC Science World, the Eureka! Games web site takes the hands-on learning that occurs at the science centre and re-creates the experience online. Visitors to the site can also view the webcam at Science World to see the live version of the exhibit.
